How to change from kilometres to miles

The speed shown over your footage reads in kilometres per hour by default. One button in the player switches it to miles per hour, and back again.

1. Play a video: open a trip from the calendar, or a clip from the clips tab.
2. Select the three-dot button on the right of the control bar to open More controls. On a phone this opens as its own dialog.
3. Press Show speed in mph.

That’s all. The speed over the footage, and the speed shown when you pause, now read in miles per hour. The button now says Show speed in km/h, and pressing it switches back.

DashKeep remembers the choice for the device, not the browser: the next video you play, on any computer or phone, opens in the units you picked.
